The 34120 ZIP code is one of the larger zones in the Naples area at 155 square miles. The entire ZIP code is east of North Naples and Bonita Springs. At its closest, 34120 is three miles east of I-75. Beginning on the south at Golden Gate Boulevard, the zone extends over 13 miles north. Its northern border is farther north than the southern tip of Estero Island. The eastern edge of 34120 is irregular, reaching to about two miles west of Immokalee. The southern end of the ZIP is about five miles north of I-75. Access from I-75 is easiest from either Exit 101 (Collier Boulevard) or Exit 111 (Immokalee Road).

The population of approximately 26,500 makes for a population density of 176 people per square mile, which is considered very low by both national and Naples standards. Only 5,400 of the residents in the 34120 are considered to be within the Naples urban area. The majority live in an area defined as rural. The median age is about 35 years-of-age, split just about evenly between male and female.

Although the average household income is slightly below the national average, that number is somewhat misleading. More than 1,200 residents earn between $75,000 and $99,999. Another nearly 1,900 residents earn in excess of $200,000 annually, several in the tens of millions.

Part of the community of Golden Gate Estates, which was created in the 1960s with the objective of becoming the world’s largest subdivision. The diversity of home styles, sizes, and acreages avoids the cookie-cutter effect characteristic of so many other planned communities. Glen Eagle is a private, bundled golf community located at the junction of Davis Boulevard and County Barn Road in 34120.
