Park Shore is notable in that it was the very first planned-unit community in the entire state of Florida. The 760-acre community runs all the way from US 41 (Tamiami Trail) to the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. Construction began on Park Shore in 1964, but the original homes were not built until the 1970s. Many of those have been replaced by new construction that makes Park Shore “one of the most spectacular Naples, Florida communities.”

Both a waterfront and beachfront community, Park Shore is home to 600 single-family homes, numerous mid-size condominiums, and 25 residential high-rises as well as commercial properties. Park Shore is virtually a city within the city of Naples.

The Village at Venetian Bay, at the center of Park Shore, is an elegant collection of waterfront restaurants and shops. Dining options include everything from MiraMare and T. Michael’s Steak and Lobster, to Ben & Jerry’s for those looking for something cool on a warm Naples day. The Homes and Condos Within Park Shore

Park Shore has so many neighborhoods and so many styles of homes that this summary cannot contain them all. So, we created a a webpage for each one. The list is at the upper right of this page. Check our more detailed descriptions of these homes as well as the other neighborhoods of Park Shore, such as Colony Gardens, Park Shore Landing, Lusso Villas, Piedmont Club and Park Place. It just doesn’t get any better than Park Shore.

  • Belair is a neighborhood of two-story, Bermuda-style homes with two bedrooms and two full baths in 2,400 square feet under air. Belair Club is located on the east side of Park Shore.
  • The Mews is a small neighborhood of low-rise villas bordering Belair to the north. Each villa features Mediterranean-style architecture and includes marble floors and private pools.
  • Colonade is a neighborhood of three-bedroom townhomes built around a sparkling lake and featuring 2,000 to 2,900 square feet under air. St. John’s Episcopal Church is in the Colonade neighborhood.
  • The Casa Mar neighborhood of 12 luxury two-story villas, each with a private pool and with a couple minute walk to the beach. These beautiful attached villas range from 4,000 to 4,900 square feet of living space. Four of the units are directly on the beach.
  • Villa Mar is the only other low-rise neighborhood located on the beach, near the north end of Park Shore. Floor plans for the 28 Mediterranean-style villas range from 2,336 to more the 3,000 square feet under air plus a two-car garage.
  • Ardissone is one of the unique island neighborhoods on Inner Doctors Bay Ardissone is gated and consists of 33 villas within six three-story buildings. Floor plans begin at 2,500 square feet. Three penthouses have more than 5,000 square feet.
  • Tropics at Park Shore is similar to Ardissone, with three buildings containing 33 units on a piece of land extending eastward into the bay from Gulf Shore Boulevard. The homes range in size from 1,450 to more than 1,900 square feet.
  • Venetian Cove Club is the southernmost neighborhood in Park Shore on the west side of the bay. The 60 homes across the street from the beach are in a single, six-story building and range from 1,330 to 1,700 square feet. Its neighbor to the north is Venetian Villas. Like Ardissone, Venetian Villas is on a man-made island extending into the bay off of Gulf Shore Boulevard. The 32 luxurious villas range in size from 2,000 to more than 3,100 square feet under air.

Boating

Boat access to the Gulf is limited only by the bridges at Park Shore Drive (high tide clearance of 18 feet) and Harbor Drive (high tide clearance of 12 ¼ feet. Park Shore stretches a mile-and-a-half along Inner Doctors Bay, from Seagate Drive on the north to Binnacle Drive on the south. While the vast majority of single-family homes are east of the Bay, the beachfront properties are primarily high-rise condominium complexes.
