Pelican Bay is one of the most sought-after communities in Naples and Southwest Florida, covering more than 2,300 acres and including 60 neighborhoods and two-and-a-half miles of Gulf Coast beaches. The Pelican Bay Foundation is the master HOA and is responsible for community services such as streetscape beautification and maintenance of the community’s 43 acres of recreational areas, four beachside restaurants, a 25,000 square-foot Community and Fitness Center and the North and South Tennis facilities.

Three private, nine-hole golf courses designed by Arthur Hill are available for residents and their guests to enjoy. There are eight Har-Tru tennis courts on the north side of Pelican Bay and another ten on the south end. Many neighborhoods have tennis courts available as well.

Residents may use the Pelican Bay sailboats and kayaks free of charge. Beach attendants are on hand with chairs and umbrellas to help setting up at the beach be as relaxing as possible. Electric, open-air trams transport residents between locations in the community on a daily basis. (Read More)

Condos

Pelican Bay offers low, mid and high-rise condominiums. Hyde Park is a condo neighborhood that is comprised of high-rise and low-rise buildings. Built in the 1980s it is located on Pelican Bay Boulevard in the southern portion of Pelican Bay. Hyde Park has 30 condo units in three high-rise buildings and one low-rise. The condos range in size from 1,725 square feet to more than 2,100 square feet, each with two to three bedrooms plus den and two bathrooms.

St. Simone is one of the neighborhoods of low-rise condominiums. St. Simone has 36 units within three buildings. The units range in size from 1,306 square feet up to 1,423 square feet with two to three bedrooms plus den and two bathrooms.

Marbella is an upscale condominium subdivision reserved for those 55 and older. Residents enjoy the relaxing views of the natural preserves and the gorgeous beach of the Gulf of Mexico from their lanais. Marbella is composed of a 22-story high-rise building with a total of 118 condo residences. Marbella has its own health care facility called The Cove.

Another one of the amazing neighborhoods in Pelican Bay is St. Laurent. It consists of 107 condo residences, including five luxury penthouses, within a 22-story condo tower. The units range in size from 1,470 square feet up to 2,515 square feet with two to three bedrooms and bathrooms. These high-rise condos offer gorgeous views of the Gulf beach, the beautiful Clam Pass, and the vast nature preserves surrounding the community.

The mid-rise and low-rise condos of Calais at Pelican Bay feature Mediterranean-design architecture with magnificent views of the lakes, community landscape, lush preserves, and the golf course. Mid-rise condos in this Naples neighborhood have 1,560 square feet to about 2,149 square feet. The low-rise condo units are a bit cozier with 1,510 square feet up to about 2,000 square feet.

Luxury Homes

The Bay Colony Shores neighborhood has been called, “one of the most distinctly upscale to be found anywhere is this country.” The 66 custom-designed, single-family, luxury estate homes of Bay Colony Shores range in size from just over 3,000 square feet to almost 10,000 square feet. Each home placement has been meticulously planned to capture views of the lush, sub-tropical surroundings and luxurious landscaping.

Ponte Verde is a small, gated neighborhood with only 13 elegant, custom estate homes with floor plans ranging from 4,000 to 7,000 square feet, well-treed and nestled between three holes on two of the golf courses.

Isle Verde neighborhood has 36 private, courtyard-style, three and four-bedroom luxury, homes with 2,541 to more than 4,500 square feet of living space, all with paver driveways and barrel tile roofs, adding a Mediterranean touch popular in Southwest Florida.

Cocobay is a neighborhood with a contrast in design, but without compromising quality. This enclave of 33 detached villas with attached garages is just three fairway widths west of Isle Verde. This gated community has paver driveways and tile roofs. Most of the 2,600 to 4,400 square-foot, three and four-bedroom homes have private pools.

The 35 luxurious homes of the gated Georgetown neighborhood range in size from 3,427 square feet to 6,400 square feet with floor plans that include three, four and five bedrooms. Every home has a private pool. Most have a view of one of Pelican Bay’s shimmering lakes.

Jamestown, also a gated neighborhood, is considered low density by Southwest Florida standards. These luxurious, single-family, four and five-bedroom homes range in size from 4,100 to 6,300 square feet under air. There are only ten homes in this upscale neighborhood.

The Grand Bay neighborhood of 33 detached, courtyard villas features both three and four bedroom homes with 3,000 to 3,500 square feet of living space. Grand Bay is on the north end of Pelican Bay within walking distance from a tram stop.

The Pinecrest neighborhood was originally built out in the late 1980s. The single-family homes with private pools are located on Bentwood Drive and the seven cul-de-sac streets within its circumference. All of these custom homes have private swimming pools and up to 4,000 square feet of living space.

Location

Vanderbilt Beach Road borders the north end of Pelican Bay. The Mercato “Main Street” district is at the intersection of Vanderbilt Beach Road and US 41 (Tamiami Trail) which provides Pelican Bay’s eastern perimeter. The community extends south to Pine Ridge Road and US 41 where the elegant Waterside Shops, Artis-Naples and Clam Pass Park are located. In fact, Pelican Bay residents enjoy the distinct privilege of being able to drive directly to Waterside without venturing outside of the community.
